In May of 2016, twenty student activists traveled the route of the proposed Mountain Valley Pipeline which would span throughout 300 miles Appalachia. For seven days, they met and spoke with community members directly impacted by the pipeline to provide a platform for their voices to be heard.

Resistance in the Valley was shot on the road and utilizes footage collected by the students participating in this collective action. This project was made possible through the support of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network and the generous communities of West Virginia and Southwest Virginia.
